Higher Education in the Springfield, OH Metro Area

Springfield, OH Metro Area can be considered to have a less-educated population of the working age, with 17 percent of the population (+25) having received at least a Bachelors Degree, as reported in the 2005 American Community Survey. The Springfield MSA counted a lower percent of the population with at least a Bachelors than the State of Ohio's proportion of 23.4 percent and a lower percent than the average across the nation of 27.2 percent.

Demographic Profile for Springfield, OH

When measuring the total land area, Springfield extends a total area of 400 square miles. This area has a medium-high population density of 356 persons per square mile, in 2005.
