Income and Poverty in Hancock County, Ohio

When compared to other counties (or parishes) across the United States, Hancock County, Ohio can be considered to have a poverty rate amongst the population, with a poverty rate of 7.5 percent of the population with family incomes below the 1999 poverty level. The Asian race/ethnicity population category, holds the highest rate of poverty with 20.6 percent of the population in 2000 living in poverty.
