Putnam County Five-Year Percentage Decline in Employment

The Specialty food stores industry has lost the largest amount of employment in terms of percentage, losing 77.8 percent from 2001 (Q2) to 2006 (Q2). The losses of the area have declined faster than the industry sector has felt in the State of Ohio, where the industry reported a loss of 24.1 percent. The losses in the Specialty food stores industry in Putnam County outpaced the US in terms of percent of decline of industry employment.
