Income and Poverty in Jackson County, Ohio

Higher Education in Jackson County, Ohio

Jackson County, Ohio has a less-educated 2000 population, with 11 percent of the population over 25 years old having received at least a Bachelors Degree, according to the Decennial Census of 2000. Demographic Profile for Jackson County, Ohio

Jackson County, Ohio has a population that is made of 96.9 percent White, 0.7 percent African American, 0.2 percent Asian, and 1.2 percent Hispanic. The population mix can be considered to have a very modest level of diversity, with 2.1 percent of the population being minorities. This is less than the State of Ohio percent of 15.5.
