Demographic Profile for Knox County, Ohio

Knox County, Ohio has a population base that is comprised of 97 percent White, 0.9 percent African American, 0.4 percent Asian, and 0.8 percent Hispanic. The population mix can be considered to have a very modest level of diversity, with 2.1 percent minorities. This is less than the State of Ohio percent of 15.5. Since 2000, Knox has increased the percent of minority makeup when 1.9 percent of the total population were minorities.
