Oklahoma City Metro Area industry wages have increased by 25.3% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Oklahoma City Metro Area by a total of 25.3%. This is greater than the growth in average industry wages for Oklahoma and greater than the growth in average wages for the US.

Oklahoma City Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Oklahoma, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Oklahoma City, OK can be understood as being medium-high when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 2 percent higher than the reported averages in the state of $32,677. The average pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
