Morrow County, Oregon has a population base that is comprised of 69.6 percent White, 0.2 percent African American, 0.5 percent Asian, and 27.7 percent Hispanic. The area population base can be described as having a high level of diversity in terms of race and ethnicity, with 28.4 percent of the population being minorities. This is greater than the State of Oregon percent of 14.9. Since 2000, Morrow has increased in diversity when 25.1 percent of the total population were minorities.

Morrow County, Oregon had a population of 11,666 in 2005. The total population has increased sharply, since the population in 2000 of 11,057. This growth signifies an increase of 5.5 percent.
