Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Metro Area industry wages have increased by 13.0% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Metro Area by a total of 13.0%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for the State of Pennsylvania and less than the growth in average wages for the US.

Total wages in all industries in Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, PA-NJ when analyzed can be understood as being relatively high when analyzed with other Metro Areas in the United States. The overall wages are 20.4 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $39,178. The average industry wage was less than the industry average in the US of $40,259.
