Johnstown Metro Area industry wages have increased by 20.4% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Johnstown Metro Area by a total of 20.4%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for the State of Pennsylvania and greater than the growth in average wages for the US.

Johnstown Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Pennsylvania, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Johnstown, PA can be described as relatively low when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 27.6 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $39,178. The overall industry wage was less than the industry average in the US of $40,259.
