Schuylkill County Five-Year Industry Employment Change

Total industry employment has increased by 1.8 percent from 2001 (2nd Quarter). These figures are greater than percent in Pennsylvania, which went through a gain of 0.5 percent from the 2nd Quarter of 2001. The gains the area experienced were less than than the gain seen for the United States of 2.6 percent.

Income and Poverty in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania

Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania has a population that is made of 95.1 percent White, 2.5 percent African American, 0.5 percent Asian, and 1.5 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very modest amount of racial and ethnic diversity, with 4.5 percent of the population made up of minorities.
