Williamsport Metro Area industry wages have increased by 13.0% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Williamsport Metro Area by a total of 13.0%. This is less than the growth in wages for the State of Pennsylvania and less than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.

Williamsport Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Pennsylvania, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The average total wages in all industries in Williamsport, PA can be described as relatively low when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 24.3 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $39,178. The overall industry wage was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
