Demographic Profile for Sumter County, South Carolina

The U.S. Census Bureau, in the year 2005, estimated a median age in Sumter County, South Carolina to be 35.3 years old. The median in Sumter is less than the median age in the State of South Carolina of 37.1. From 2000, the area has seen an increase in the median, when the median age was 33.5 years old.
