Income and Poverty in Pickens County, South Carolina

When put side-by-side with other counties (or parishes) throughout the United States, Pickens County, South Carolina can be considered to have a medium-high poverty rate amongst the population, with a poverty rate of 13.7 percent of people living in a family with an income below the poverty level in 1999.
