Employment for all industries has increased by 73.9 percent since the 2nd Quarter of 2001. This is greater than growth in South Carolina, which experienced a gain of 3.2 percent from the 2nd Quarter of 2001. Income and Poverty in Jasper County, South Carolina

Since the year 2000, a very high amount of people migrated to Jasper internationally. The international migration into Jasper makes up 1.5 percent of immigration into the State of South Carolina.
