Total employment has increased by 1.5 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2005. This change is less than growth in Tennessee, experiencing a gain of 1.9 percent since 2005 ( 2nd Quarter). The gains felt were less than than the gain seen for the United States of 2.0 percent.
