Chattanooga Metro Area industry wages have increased by 17.3% percent since 2001

Since 2001, industry wages increased in the Chattanooga Metro Area by a total of 17.3%. This is less than the growth in average industry wages for Tennessee and greater than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Chattanooga Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Tennessee, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The average total wages in all industries in Chattanooga, TN-GA when analyzed can be described as medium-high when analyzed with other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the US. The average pay is 8.2 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $36,146. The industry pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
