Income and Poverty in Franklin County, Tennessee

Franklin County, Tennessee had a population of 41,003 in the year 2005. The population has increased, since its 2000 population of 39,347. This growth denotes an increase of 4.2 percent. Franklin ranks 33 of 95 counties by growth in total population in Tennessee and the county ranks 910 of 3,141 counties when calculating the total change in county population across the US.

By measuring total land area, Franklin encompasses a total area of 555 square miles. The land areas has a medium-low density of 74 persons per square mile.
