Lauderdale County Wages have increased by 18.6% Since 2001

Lauderdale County Five-Year Percentage Decline in Employment

The Services to buildings and dwellings industry has seen the largest percentage drop in employment, losing 78.8 percent from 2001 (Q2) to 2006 (Q2). The losses of the area have declined faster than the industry sector has felt in the State of Tennessee, where the industry reported a gain of 16.5 percent. The losses in the Services to buildings and dwellings industry in Lauderdale County outpaced the losses of nation as a whole in the industry. In this time period, the nation gained 11 in percent of jobs in the Services to buildings and dwellings industry.

Income and Poverty in Lauderdale County, Tennessee
