Income and Poverty in Lewis County, Tennessee

Lewis County, Tennessee had a population of 11,435 for the year 2005. The total population has increased, since the 2000 total population of 11,375. This growth denotes an increase of 0.5 percent. In Lewis County, Retail Trade, Manufacturing, and the Health care and social assistance industries have the largest percent of jobs of all industries. The Retail Trade is the major employer in the county making up 17.4 percent of all jobs throughout the county, totaling 3,513 individuals.
