This median is 25.1 percent greater than the reported median household income for all households in the state. &lt;I&gt;Hispanic&lt;/I&gt; households in Tennessee, according to the 2000 census, had a median household income of $37,462, this median household income is 11.9 percent less than the reported median household income for all households in the area. The households that were headed by an &lt;I&gt;American Indian and Alaska Native&lt;/I&gt; individual in Tennessee reported an income level of $39,504, this level was 7.1 percent less than the median level for total households in the area.
