Employment Report for Austin County, Texas -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

In Austin County, Manufacturing, Retail Trade, and the Construction industries have the largest percent of jobs of all industries. The Manufacturing is the largest employment industry and makes up 25.6 percent of all the jobs in the county. This makes up 1,979 employees. The Retail Trade and Construction sectors provide 19.2 and 12.4 percent of industry employment.
