Employment Report for Chambers County, Texas -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

Professional and technical services is the industry that has grown the most in terms of employment from 2001-2005 in Chambers County, growing in new jobs by 277.2 percent. This is greater than the national employment change in the industry of 2.6 percent. The State of Texas had changed in sector employment of 4.3 percent, from 2001 to 2005.

In Chambers County, Manufacturing, Retail Trade, and the Accommodation and food services industries have the largest percent of jobs of all industries.
