Employment Report for Comal County, Texas -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

In Comal County, Retail Trade, Construction, and the Accommodation and food services industries have the largest percent of jobs of all industries. The Retail Trade is the largest employment industry and makes up 15.8 percent of total employment in the county, making up 4,520 employees. The Construction and Accommodation and food services industries total 13.4 and 13.1 percent of total employment, respectively.

In Comal County, Construction, Arts, entertainment, and recreation and Mining have the highest US LQ in 2005. The Construction industry has a US LQ in the county of 2.03.
