Employment Report for Duval County, Texas -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

In Duval County, Mining, Health care and social assistance, and the Construction industries are the largest employment industries. The Mining provides the most jobs and contributes 33.2 percent of all the jobs in the county. This makes up 641 jobs. The Health care and social assistance and Construction sectors account for 18.7 and 10.7 percent of all employment.

Health care and social assistance since the year 2001 lost the most jobs in Duval County.
