Higher Education in Castro County, Texas

According to the 2000 Decennial Census in Castro County, Texas, the largest educational attainment category for men is the Less than High School category, with 36.2 percent obtaining this level of education. The women in Castro on average have achieved a greater level of higher education (Bachelors Degree or Higher) than the male population-- 12.2 percent (Men) versus 17 percent (Women).
