Higher Education in the College Station-Bryan, TX Metro Area

From 2000, the College Station-Bryan metro area has decreased in the percent of the population that is over the age of 25 with a BA or Higher. This population cohort has declined by 1.0 percent to a total of 36 percent in 2005. The median age in College Station-Bryan is less than the median age in Texas of 33.2. Since the year 2000, the area has witnessed an increase in the median age, at that time the median was 23.6 years old. With 19.2 percent of the 2005 population being comprised of individuals under the age of 18, College Station-Bryan can be described as having a medium-high percent of people under 18.
