Income and Poverty in Bosque County, Texas

Black or African American headed households had median income levels that were 43.2 percent less than the overall median reported in 2000, with a reported median of $22,730. In Bosque County, Texas White householders had a median income (2005 Dollars) of $41,051 as reported by the Decennial Census of 2000, which was 2.6 percent greater than the median in 2000. Hispanic Householders in Bosque County, Texas , as reported in 2000, had a median household income of $31,111, which is 22.2 percent less than the areas median income level for all households. The American Indian and Alaska Native householders in Bosque County reported a median household income of $42,014, this median was 5.1 percent greater than the areas median level for all households.
