Income and Poverty in Bowie County, Texas

While the median household income saw a decline since 2000 in Bowie County, Texas, the Race/Ethnicity group that went through the most dramatic decline in median household income was the American Indian and Alaska Native Race/Ethnicity category. This category went through a decline of 63.4 percent since 2000. The Asian Race/Ethnicity group has been least impacted by the median income decline in Bowie County, encountering a 43.5 percent increase in household income level, since the year 2005.
