Corpus Christi Metro Area industry wages have increased by 22.7% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Corpus Christi Metro Area by a total of 22.7%. This is greater than the growth in average industry wages for Texas and greater than the growth in industry wages across the US.

Corpus Christi Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Texas, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Corpus Christi, TX when analyzed can be understood as being medium-high when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 19.6 percent lower than the with an state average of $41,186. The average pay was less than the national industry average of $40,259.
