Total industry employment has decreased by 2.7 percent from the reported values in 2001. These values are greater than growth in Texas, which experienced a gain of 4.8 percent from the 2nd Quarter of 2001. The losses were greater than than the gain felt at the national level of 2.6 percent.

Income and Poverty in Eastland County, Texas

In 2005, the Census Bureau estimated the median age in Eastland County, Texas to be 40.8 years of age. The median age in Eastland is greater than the median age for the State of Texas of 33.2.
