In the year 2005, the population division of U.S. Census Bureau estimates the median age in Hill County, Texas to be 37.4 years of age. The median in Hill is greater than the median age for the State of Texas of 33.2. Since the year 2000, the area has witnessed a decline in the median age, at that time the median was 38.3 years old. With 24.7 percent of the population in the year 2005 being made up of individuals less than 18 years old, Hill can be understood as being made up of a medium-high percent of individuals under 18.
