Midland Metro Area industry wages have increased by 23.7% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the Midland Metro Area by a total of 23.7%. This is greater than the growth in wages for the State of Texas and greater than the growth in industry wages across the US.

Midland Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Texas, and Wages Exceed the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Midland, TX when analyzed can be described as relatively high when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 0.9 percent higher than the reported averages in the state of $41,186. The average pay was greater than the US average pay of $40,259.
