Income and Poverty in Moore County, Texas

Moore County, Texas had a population that was estimated at 20,348 in the year 2005. The population has increased, from the population in the year 2000 of 20,112. This growth represents an increase of 1.2 percent. Moore ranks 121 of 254 counties by growth in total population in Texas and the county ranks 1,622 of 3,141 counties when analyzing total county population change across the nation.

Employment Report for Moore County, Texas -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

Transportation and Warehousing between the years 2001 and 2005, saw the greatest loss in employment in Moore County. The sector dealt with a loss of 199 jobs during the period, or 46 percent of the employment in the industry. This made up a total of 57 percent of all employment losses in the county.
