Income and Poverty in Polk County, Texas

In Polk County, Texas as reported in the 2000 Census, 11.8 percent of the White Alone, 2.2 percent of Black or African American, 44.8 percent of the Asian alone and 5.4 percent of the Hispanic or Latino population, over the age 25, has achieved a Bachelors Degree or Higher.

The population division of the Census Bureau estimates in 2005 a median age in Polk County, Texas to be 39.2 years of age.
