In the year 2005, the population division of U.S. Census Bureau estimates the median age in Rockwall County, Texas to be 33.7 years of age. The median in Rockwall is greater than the median age for the State of Texas of 33.2. Since the year 2000, the area has seen a decline in the median, when the median age was 35.3 years of age.
