Swisher County, Texas has a population that is comprised of 56.9 percent White, 6.1 percent African American, 0.1 percent Asian, and 36 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very high amount of racial and ethnic diversity, with 42.2 percent minorities. This is less than the State of Texas percent of 49.5.
