Waco Metro Area industry wages have increased by 18.7% percent since 2001

Industry wages, from 2001 to 2006, have increased in the Waco Metro Area by a total of 18.7%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for Texas and greater than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Waco Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Texas, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Waco, TX can be understood as being medium-low when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 23.9 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $41,186. The average pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
