Tooele County, Utah has a population that is made up of 85.8 percent White, 1.3 percent African American, 0.8 percent Asian, and 9.3 percent Hispanic. The area can be described as having a modest level of diversity, with 11.4 percent of the population being minorities. This is less than the State of Utah percent of 13.5. Since 2000, Tooele has decreased in diversity when 12.1 percent of the population was made up of minorities.
