Demographic Profile for Wasatch County, Utah

Wasatch County, Utah had a total estimated population of 18,974 in the year 2005. The population has increased very sharply, since its 2000 population of 15,436. This growth represents an increase of 22.9 percent. Wasatch ranks 11 of 29 counties when analyzing total population change in Utah and the county ranks 615 of 3,141 counties by growth in county population in the United States.

In the year 2005, the population division of U.S. Census Bureau estimates the median age in Wasatch County, Utah to be 29.1 years old. The median age in Wasatch is greater than the median in Utah of 28.5. Since 2000, the area has experienced a decline in the median, when the median age was 29.3 years old.
