Employment Report for Rockbridge County, Virginia -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

In Rockbridge County, Manufacturing, Retail Trade, and the Accommodation and food services sectors are the largest industries, in terms of total number of jobs in 2005. The Manufacturing is the major employer in the county making up 34.2 percent of total employment in the county, making up 1,956 jobs. The Retail Trade and Accommodation and food services sectors provide 19.7 and 15.9 percent of all employment.
