These losses have declined faster than the industry has seen in the Virginia, where the it saw a gain of 1.5 percent. The losses in the &lt;I&gt;Building foundation and exterior contractors&lt;/I&gt; industry in King and Queen County outpaced the US in terms of percent of decline of industry employment. The US gained 5 in percent of jobs in the &lt;I&gt;Building foundation and exterior contractors&lt;/I&gt; industry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;I&gt; Top 3 Industries &lt;/I&gt;&lt;br /&gt; 1. Building foundation and exterior contractors (5.2 percent decline)&lt;br /&gt;2. Building equipment contractors (4.2 percent decline)&lt;br /&gt;3. Automotive repair and maintenance (3.6 percent decline) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;b&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;King and Queen County One-Year Percentage Growth in Employment&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The &lt;I&gt;Residential building construction&lt;/I&gt; industry has seen the largest percentage job growth, expanding by 74.4 percent from 2005 to 2006. This industry in King and Queen County has expanded faster than the overall industry growth seen in the State of Virginia, where this industry saw a gain of 4.5 percent. The &lt;I&gt;Residential building construction&lt;/I&gt; industry in King and Queen County outpaced the US in terms of percent growth of industry employment. During this period, the US gained 5.5 percent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;I&gt; Top 3 Industries &lt;/I&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Residential building construction (74.4 percent gain)&lt;br /&gt;2. Gasoline stations (45.5 percent gain)&lt;br /&gt;3. This is greater than percent in Virginia, which saw a gain of 1.9 percent since 2005 ( 2nd Quarter). The losses in the area were greater than than the gain experienced overall in the US of 2.0 percent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In King and Queen County, Virginia, the total number of workers for all sectors has decreased by 9 total jobs between the 2nd Quarter of 2005 and 2nd Quarter of 2006. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;b&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;Total One-Year Employment Growth in King and Queen County&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Out of the 4-digit NAICS industries, the &lt;I&gt;Residential building construction&lt;/I&gt; industry has brought the most jobs with a total of 11 total jobs brought in during the period. The growth in the &lt;I&gt;Residential building construction&lt;/I&gt; industry makes up 59.3 percent of the total employment growth in King and Queen County.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;I&gt; Top 3 Industries &lt;/I&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Residential building construction (11 new jobs)&lt;br /&gt;2. Gasoline stations (5 new jobs)&lt;br /&gt;3.
