The Individual and family services industry has experienced the largest percentage growth, expanding by 340.5 percent from the 2001 (Q2) to the 2006 (Q2). Income and Poverty in Grant County, Washington

Hispanic households in Grant County, Washington recorded a median income of $34,096, this median is 17.4 percent less than the median reported for all households in the area. According to the 2000 Census, the Asian headed households in the area have median household incomes of $41,083. This median is 0.5 percent less than the reported median for all households in the area. The U.S. Census Bureau, in the year 2005, estimated a median age in Grant County, Washington to be 31.9 years old. The median age in Grant is less than the median in Washington of 36.7. From 2000, the area has seen an increase in the median, when the median age was 31.4 years old. With 29.8 percent of the population in the year 2005 being made up of individuals less than 18 years old, Grant can be understood as having a relatively high proportion of youths. Manufacturing has the largest businesses in Grant County.
