Olympia Metro Area industry wages have increased by 14.4% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the Olympia Metro Area by a total of 14.4%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for the State of Washington and less than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Olympia Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Washington, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Total wages in all industries in Olympia, WA when analyzed can be described as medium-low when analyzed with other Metro Areas in the United States. The overall wages are 22.2 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $41,025. The industry pay was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
