Reported by the 2000 Census in San Juan County, Washington, many men in the area have reached the Bachelors Degree or Higher category, with 43.2 percent achieving this level. The female population in San Juan have on average achieved a lower level of higher education (Bachelors or Higher) than men; 43.2 percent (Men) versus 37.4 percent (Women). Demographic Profile for San Juan County, Washington

San Juan County, Washington has a population that is made up of 93.8 percent White, 0.3 percent African American, 1.2 percent Asian, and 2.7 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very modest amount of racial and ethnic diversity, with 4.2 percent of the population being minorities. This is less than the State of Washington percent of 18.3. Since 2000, San Juan has increased the percent of minority population when 3.6 percent of the population was made up of minorities.
