Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue Metro Area industry wages have increased by 6.0% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue Metro Area by a total of 6.0%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for Washington and less than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Washington, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Total wages in all industries in Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA when analyzed can be described as very high when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 12.9 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $41,025. The average industry wage was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
