Income and Poverty in Thurston County, Washington

The rate of poverty in Thurston County, Washington has increased by 2.2 percent from the levels reported in the Decennial Census of 2000, moving from 8.8 percent to 11 percent.

Thurston County, Washington has a population base that is comprised of 82.3 percent White, 2.6 percent African American, 4.8 percent Asian, and 5.2 percent Hispanic.
