Huntington-Ashland Metro Area industry wages have increased by 16.0% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Huntington-Ashland Metro Area by a total of 16.0%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for the State of West Virginia and less than the growth in industry wages across the US.

Huntington-Ashland Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind West Virginia, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Total wages in all industries in Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH when analyzed can be described as medium-low when analyzed with other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the US. The average pay is 0.3 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $31,394. The overall industry wage was less than the national industry average of $40,259.
