Carbon County One-Year Industry Employment Change

Given the 36 industries with industry data reported by the BLS in each quarter, 17 showed an escalation in the number employed, while 19 industries reported a drop in employment.

In Carbon County, Wyoming, the total number of workers for all sectors has increased by 325 jobs between mid-2005 and mid-2006.

The losses in the Nonresidential building construction industry in Carbon County outpaced the United States in terms of percentage decline of industry employment. In this period, the United States gained 6.1 percent in terms of employment in the Nonresidential building construction industry.
