Cheyenne Metro Area industry wages have increased by 22.8% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the Cheyenne Metro Area by a total of 22.8%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for the State of Wyoming and greater than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Cheyenne Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Wyoming, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The average total wages in all industries in Cheyenne, WY when analyzed can be understood as being relatively low when analyzed with other Metro Areas in the United States. The overall wages are 14.7 percent lower than the state, which was reported to be $34,607. The industry pay was less than the industry average in the US of $40,259.
