Lincoln County One-Year Industry Employment Change

Total employment has increased by 7.9 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2005. This change is greater than growth in the State of Wyoming, which experienced a gain of 6.2 percent since 2005 ( 2nd Quarter). The gains in the area were greater than than the gain reported at the US level of 2.0 percent.

The Individual and family services industry has lost the biggest percent of jobs, losing 23 percent from 2005 (Q2) to 2006 (Q2). The losses of the area have declined faster than the industry has seen in the Wyoming, where the industry sector experienced a gain of 0.1 percent. The losses in the Individual and family services industry in Lincoln County outpaced the losses of nation as a whole in the industry. In this time period, the nation gained 6.1 percent in terms of employees in the Individual and family services industry.
